Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has asked the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa, to take quick action after the attack in Angwan Rukuba, Jos, where more than 30 people were killed.

In a statement shared online, the Kogi Central senator said the incident shows that many Nigerians are still not safe.

She said there appears to be a difference between the promises made during the minister’s screening and what is happening on the ground.

The lawmaker urged the Defence Minister to take responsibility and ensure better protection of lives.

Her reaction reflects the frustration of many Nigerians over repeated attacks in different parts of the country.

Residents of the affected area are still mourning and are calling for justice and improved security.
