Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu will travel to Rwanda on May 14 for the Africa CEO Forum 2026 in Kigali, where he will join global leaders, investors, and business executives for high-level talks on Africa’s economic growth.
The President will be joined by Health Minister Muhammad Pate and business mogul Aliko Dangote at the two-day event scheduled for May 14 and 15 in Kigali.
Organisers say the forum will bring together more than 2,000 participants, including top executives, investors, and policymakers, to discuss ways to strengthen Africa’s economy and attract more investment.
The Nigerian government believes Tinubu’s participation will send a strong signal about the country’s readiness to collaborate with international partners and deepen private sector engagement.
Dangote is expected to offer perspectives on industrial growth and large-scale investments, while Pate will push conversations around healthcare as a key driver of economic stability and development.
Officials also say health sector reforms, including improved infrastructure and local pharmaceutical production, will form part of the broader discussions at the forum.
Over the years, the Africa CEO Forum has grown into a major platform for shaping economic policy conversations, bringing together heads of state, global CEOs, and African entrepreneurs.
This year’s meeting is expected to focus on building stronger economic ties across African countries and positioning the continent for sustained growth in a competitive global environment.
