President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Kenya for the 2026 Africa France Summit where discussions will centre on economic growth, energy transition, climate action, and regional cooperation.
The Nigerian leader reportedly arrived in the Kenyan capital shortly after midnight on Monday for the high profile meeting involving African and French leaders.
Key issues expected to dominate the summit include infrastructure development, digital innovation, youth empowerment, climate action, and economic partnerships across Africa.
Tinubu is also expected to meet investors, business leaders, and foreign partners during the visit as Nigeria seeks to attract more investment into strategic sectors of the economy.
The President will equally hold separate meetings with African and French officials to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional development.
Following the summit, Tinubu is expected to proceed to Kigali for the Africa CEO Forum scheduled for May 14 and May 15.
